This will be a very quick run through the locomotives the LMS inherited on the Northern Division, together with a glance at the replacement motive power introduced by the Company to the Division. There will little time to dwell on the different types of wheel arrangement, let alone individual classes.

For this reason it is planned to mount this, and hopefully other, talks today on the LMS Society website for people to look at their leisure.
